A lot has already been said about his life and death. My best memories
are checking out the “Victory Tour” with the Jackson 5 in 1984. I was
11 years old, a huge fan, and mom drove us up to B.C. to see the show.

Bonnaroo was an amazing mashup of mudboots and bathing suits.
In ONE DAY I caught Al Green, Galactic, Santigold, Raphael Saadiq,
Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Femi Kuti, Pretty Lights, David Byrne,
and still DJed the Silent Disco. For those of you who don’t know, its a
few hundred people dancing around wearing wireless headphones.
No speakers! Big shouts to my DJs joining me in the get down:
